Welcome to AdaptivitEase
Hello! I’m Eddie, the founder and head trainer behind AdaptivitEase. For over two decades, I’ve dedicated my professional life to empowering individuals with disabilities and age-related physical challenges through customized fitness training and adaptive movement solutions.

My Journey
My passion for adaptive fitness began early in my career when I witnessed firsthand how traditional fitness environments often failed to accommodate those with unique physical needs. I saw talented, determined individuals being overlooked by the mainstream fitness industry, and I knew there had to be a better way.
With specialized training and certifications in adaptive physical education, therapeutic recreation, and disability-specific fitness protocols, I set out to create training programs that could be truly accessible to everyone. What started as one-on-one sessions with a handful of clients has grown into a lifelong mission to transform how we approach fitness for those with physical limitations.
My Approach
I believe that movement is a fundamental human right and that every body—regardless of its abilities—deserves the opportunity to experience the joy and benefits of physical activity. My training philosophy centers on three core principles:
- Personalization: No two bodies are the same, and this is especially true for individuals with disabilities. I work closely with each client to understand their unique needs, goals, and capabilities.
- Creativity: Sometimes, the best solutions aren’t found in textbooks. I’m known for developing innovative adaptations and modifications to standard exercises and equipment.
- Dignity: Every training session, every adaptation, and every interaction is grounded in respect for the individual. Fitness should be empowering, never demeaning.
My Expertise
Over my 20+ years as a specialized trainer, I’ve had the privilege of working with clients across the spectrum of abilities, including those with:
- Spinal cord injuries
- Parkinson’s disease
- Amputations
- Stroke recovery
- Vision impairments
- Age-related mobility challenges
- Chronic pain conditions
- Developmental disabilities
I’ve helped wheelchair users discover upper body strength they never knew they had, guided seniors with arthritis toward greater mobility, and coached lots of elderly and people with different disabilities.
